Objectives: cellulite is characterized by changes in the surface of the skin with the presence of dimpling. The purpose of this study is to describe the technique called Goldncision, which combines local anesthesia, use of biostimulators, and detachment of fibrous septa with the goldenneedle and with the patient standing

Introduction: cellulite affects more than 90% of women, and its treatment has been a challenge in dermatological offices. Multifactorial approaches and association of treatments need to be discussed and developed, as well as describing the best way to detach the fibrous septa.

Materials / method: Observational multicenter study carried out in hundreds of patients with 10 years of follow-up with its own evaluation, treatment and follow-up protocol of the technique called Goldincision. Describe safety and effectiveness in addition to the satisfaction of medical staff and patients

Results: The level of satisfaction was considered excellent in patients treated with the technique to be described, as well as in the medical staff. Cases of seroma, hematoma and residual ecchymosis caused by hemosiderin were observed in some cases and absence of serious complications

Conclusion: This study shows the effectiveness and safety of using the technique. Decompression of fat compartments and collagen biostimulation by particulate products seem to improve local circulation and, consequently, lymphedema, lipedema and venous edema, which, associated with septal detachment with the patient standing, allows immediate visualization of the result.

Objectives: The goal is to find an alternative technique to gluteoplasty or hyaluronic acid infiltrations, to reconstruct, shape and volumize a toneless and shapeless gluteus, as can occur in cases of lipoatrophy, weight loss or aging. This is made through a polymer that regenerates tissue, such as polylactic acid.
In this report we want to present a study consisting of 20 patients treated with polylactic acid in the buttock region, which allowed the reconstruction of the structure of the same.

Introduction: Polylactic acid is an important polymeric material for biomedical applications thanks to its properties such as: biodegradability, mechanical strength and biocompatible regeneration capacity.
Polylactic acid is successfully used to correct imperfections and imperfections of the face such as: wrinkles, furrows, acne or surgical scars, drooping or slightly accentuated cheekbones, marionette-lines, dark circles for more than 20 years.
Polylactic acid is therefore a non-toxic, ecological polymer with characteristics that allow its use in the human body.

Materials / method: 20 patients with polylactic acid, 18 women, and 2 men with an average age of 55 were treated, from May 2020 to today.
All patients performed the treatment in three sessions, approximately 30/45 days apart from each other. 1 vial was used for each buttock, so there are 2 vials for the entire buttock.
The micro particles of the entire vial of polylactic acid are inserted into the buttock with a micro bolus technique.
These particles in the dermis determine the synthesis of collagen which can be appreciated only after a session 4/6 weeks later.

Results: The results were evaluated with photos before and 8 months after the first session.
90% of patients are satisfied with the result.
After the session, the patient can resume his normal activities.
A study was also conducted on the variation of the WAS score (wrinkle, assessment, score)
Furthermore, for the evaluation of the results, a Vega2 study was conducted to evaluate the thickness of the dermis by ultrasound.

Conclusion: Polylactic acid has a wide range of applications in the face and body, there are some limitations, due to the poor preparation of the product and its poor management which unfortunately did not allow its proper integration in Italy.

SO, OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE PERFECTED THE TECHNIQUE OF FILLING GLUTEO WITH POLYMETHYLMETACRYLATE (PMMA) WITH THE PURPOSE OF INCREASE IN GLUTEO, CORRECTION OF FLACKNESS AND LIPODYSTROPHY AND ALSO CORRECTION OF TROCHANTERICAL DEPRESSION.

Materials / method: OVER 2,000 WOMEN SUBMITTED TO AN INCREASED BUTTONS IN THE INTRAMUSCULAR PLATE WITH PMMA. SIDE EFFECTS WERE CALCULATED, PICTURES REVIEW BEFORE E AFTER TO PROVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF RESULTS. MONITORING TIME OF 13 YEARS, WE WILL PRESENT AVERAGE OF THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS REQUIRED FOR THE DESIRED RESULTS AND THE AVERAGE OF THE QUANTITY OF PRODUCT USED.

Results: PRESENTING A LOW RATE OF COMPLICATIONS, A GREAT DIFERENCE IN VOLUME AND SHAPE. A HIGH SATISFACTION RATE.
WOMEN BEING FOLLOWED OVER 13 YEARS WITH OVER 2,000 WOMEN.

Conclusion: GLUTEAL AUGMENTATION WITH PMMA IS A SAFE PROCEDURE IN A LONG FOLLOW UP YEARS.

Objectives: In this study we investigate whether procedure combining HIFEM contractions and RF heating affects the levels of SC similarly as the long exercise do in order to achieve muscle growth.

Introduction: Because the myofiber nuclei cannot re-enter a proliferative state under normal condition, the postnatal muscle differentiation and repair merely rely on the so called Satellite cells (SC). These myogenic stem cells can differentiate to provide nuclei for existing muscles or to generate new muscle fibers as documented after long exercise programs.

Materials / method: Three procedures (one per week) in duration of 30 minutes were administered on the abdominal area of five Large White swine aged approximately half of a year. All animals were anesthetized during the treatments and biopsy acquisition. Biopsies of muscle tissue were assessed at baseline, four days and two weeks post-treatment. Specimens were cut into 5-10mm thick slices, while 20 slices were prepared per each time point. After binding of the specific antibodies, the NCAM/CD56 levels, a marker of activated SC, were quantified using immunofluorescne microscopy technique with UV lamp.

Results: Examined slices showed continuous increase of satellite cell levels throughout the study. Four days after the treatment we observed an increase in SC amount by 26.1%, which was sustained up to two weeks, when the amount of newly recognized cells reached up to 30.2%. Additional histological analysis revealed an increase in cross-sectional area of muscle fibers and also signs of newly formed fibers of small diameter, demonstrated at two weeks. No damage of muscle tissue was found as well as no adverse effects related to the treatment.

Conclusion: Our novel findings indicate that HIFEM contractions in conjunction of RF heating are able to initiate differentiation of satellite cells to support growth of existing muscles and presumably form new myofibers.

Objectives: To review pathogenesis and incidence of paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) after cryolipolysis
To review patient satisfaction of combined shockwave therapy and cryolipolysis
To review prevention of PAH after cryolipolysis with shockwave therapy

Introduction: It is estimated that there is over 8 million cryolipolysis treatments worldwide by the manufacturer of the largest brand, CoolSculpting from Allergan Aesthetics. PAH has gained attention lately with recent research showing an incidence reported as high as 0.39%. However, combined treatment of shockwave therapy and cryolipolysis have a high patient satisfaction rate and may prevent PAH.

Materials / method: We conducted a prospective study of 30 patients who underwent at least one cryolipolysis therapy cycle followed by shockwave treatment. Subjects were given a posttreatment questionnaire to assess the patient's comfort and satisfaction degree with the combination of cryolipolysis and shockwave therapy for fat reduction. Answers were recorded on a five-point Likert-style scale, entered into a database and were analyzed.

Also, between April 2017 and mid-January 2021, our center performed 2291 treatment cycles of cryolipolysis followed by SWT.

Results: We found an overall high satisfaction rate for most patients when treated with shockwave therapy after cryolipolysis treatment. The majority of patients described the discomfort associated with treatment as minimal or tolerable (76.7%) and were prepared to recommend cryolipolysis treatment followed by shockwave therapy to friends (68.9%). Overall, 76.7% of patients found the combination therapy comfortable, 68.3% were satisfied with the results, 57.7% said the results met their expectations.

Also, out of 2291 treatment cycles performed in the above period, we had no documented cases of PAH.

Conclusion: We report a high level of patient satisfaction when using a combination of fat reduction procedures of cryolipolysis followed by shockwave therapy. The majority of cases report being satisfied or extremely satisfied with the treatment and found this body contouring combination method comfortable.

The mechanical, anti-inflammatory and procirculatory effects of SWT play an essential role in reducing side effects after cryolipolysis and preventing PAH as seen in our cohort of patients.

Objectives: Diastasis rectus abdominis is a condition in which these abdominal muscles are separated by an abnormal distance due to widening of the linea alba generating an aesthetic and functional problem

Introduction: The objective of this research is to evaluate the effect of TECAR therapy in the resolution of abdominal diastasis in women

Materials / method: The sample is made up of 52 women with an average age of 40.5 years, with an average Body Mass Index of 22.6 Kg / m2. Measurements were made by Ultrasound. All signed an informed consent, where the treatment was explained to them.

Results: The difference in the ultrasound measurements of the Superior Diastasis before and after was 0.22 cm and the Lower Diastasis 0.28 cm p = 0.001 The increase in size of the right rectum was 0.9 cm and that of the Left was 0.9 p = 0.011 and p = 0.019 respectively. Discussion. In a similar s study, Kinney & Lozanova 2019, a reduction in abdominal separation at one month of 0.017 cm.

Conclusion: This makes it possible to affirm that high power radiofrequency produces a greater reduction in the separation of the rectums. Conclusion. It is confirmed, that this technology represents a completely new approach to non-invasive body shaping, which would lead to the additional muscular effects of the elimination of the already established fat

Objectives: To examine the patient demographics, safety and effiectiveness of cryolipolysis in Asian patients.

Introduction: Cryolipolysis are well-known around the world as a nonsurgical procedure for the subcutaneous fat reduction, but very few papers focus on Asian people.

Materials / method: A retrospective review was conducted for those who recieved cryolipolysis treatment from January 2021 to December 2021 in Shonan Beaty Clinic group. The number of patients, the number of treatment cycles, the rate of error during the procedure, and all procedural complications were recorded and analyzed.

Results: Over this period, 31,761 patients were treated with 95,264 cycles. Complications occurred in 2 cases of hyperpigmentation, 2 cases of frostbite, 1 case of radial nerve paralysis, and 1 case of dysesthesia. Paradoxical hyperplasia was not reported. The error rate of the machine during the treatment was 4.10%.

Conclusion: The complication rate for this treatment was found to be extremely low. As there have been reports of serious complications, treatment assessments and protocols need to be devised to improve efficiency and safety.
