Objectives: Show the possibilities of vascular laser to treat vascular anomalies and to help to treat many other non vascular conditions

Materials / method: Our experience

Results: Vascular lasers are very useful for many vascular anomalies (port wine stains, hemangiomas, spiders, venous malformations...) and also can help to treat hematomas, warts, molluscum, granulomatous diseases, lupus erythematosus, rosacea and many other clinical indications.

Conclusion: Vascular lasers play a role to treat a world of different indications

Objectives: The Q-switched, nanoseconds , lasers that induced photothermal and photoacustic were the gold standard of treatment of tattoos and pigmented lesions until the last years Now , a shorter duration lasers , the picoseconds lasers were introduced to this growing market, offering the theoretical possibility to remove tattoos and superficial pigmented lesions is a shorter and effective manner.

Introduction: Is this true? When do we need a pico second laser and when not? Is it worthwhile spending double or triple amount of money on removing tattoos? Are those lasers have a pure photoacustic effect?

Conclusion: This presentation will discuss the potential use of the pico-seconds lasers , their advantages and disadvantages in an objective non biased manner
