Objectives: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous plasma product with concentration of platelets 3 to 7 times above the physiological levels. It is obtained by centrifuging autologous blood before the procedure. PRP includes bioactive molecules such as chemokines, cytokines, and growth factors. The growth signals and proteins are able to stimulate cellular proliferation, differentiation, neoangiogenesis, activating fibroblasts and synthesizing collagen. These properties make PRP an attractive option for skin regeneration and hair restoration.

Introduction: Adding to the popularity of use of PRP is that it has a relatively low side effect profile. There are no long-term side effects reported so far. The short-term side effects observed are related to the intradermal route of administration.
For facial skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing, PRP alone has shown to improve texture, wrinkles, facial volume and skin color. Latest trends suggest the use of PRP in periorbital hyperpigmentation as well. When it comes to lip rejuvenation, the most obvious change is the more vivid color of the lips.

Materials / method: The newest trend however, is to use PRP in combination therapies. Used with skin booster, patients’ facial skin indicators, quality of life, and satisfaction with their appearance improve significantly. Physicians also report that when PRP is combined with microneedling for treating atrophic acne scars, better results re achieved than with microneedling alone. Atrophic acne scars are also targeted with fractional CO2 laser combined with PRP, showing shorter duration of erythema and edema, less post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and shorter recovery time.

Results: Intradermal PRP injections could also be a good alternative for treating melasma and vitiligo. Questions have been posed on the efficacy in PRP use for striae distensea management, adding some new hopes.
When it comes to hair restoration, new treatment protocols are also focused on combination therapies. One-hundred percent improvement rate in female pattern hair-loss is reported if PRP is used with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. PRP plus basic fibroblast growth factor seems to be more beneficial if combined with minoxidil 5% (twice daily) in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

Conclusion: Overall, the treatment with PRP has rejuvenating and regenerative properties and it is now widely used in dermatology and aesthetics. To have best results it is advisable to perform series of treatments. New trends suggest that better results are achieved if PRP is used in combination with other treatments. PRP is a promising and safe method, which needs a standardized and unified protocol for preparation and application, in order to assess its efficacy and potential benefits. This will help establish PRP as a routine treatment with well-defined indications in dermatology and aesthetics.

Introduction: We will talk about the use of autologous platelet-rich plasma/thrombin gel combined with split thickness skin graft to manage post infectious skin defects, which was a randomized controlled study; on the efficacy of Autologous Platelet-rich Plasma Glue in Weight Loss Sequelae Surgery and Breast Reduction which was a controlled Prospective Study; On
Efficacy of autologous platelet concentrates as adjuvant therapy to surgical excision in the treatment of keloid scars refractory to conventional treatments which was a pilot prospective study;

Materials / method: on efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasma combined with hyaluronic
acid on skin facial rejuvenation which was a prospective study; on efficacy of injecting platelet concentrate combined with hyaluronic acid for the treatment of vulvovaginal dryness in post menopausal women with history of breast cancer which was a phase 2 pilot study and on the effect of PRP on the potentialization of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) in cutaneous wound healing Regenerative and abilities of MSC through Mitochondria transfer.

Conclusion: Our future study will be on the use on a new product which is not yet certified the crosslinked HA Cellular matrix on nasolabial fold.

Introduction: The aim of the study was to evaluate the benefit of the combination of PRP and polyrevitalization complex injections.

Materials / method: Female, aged 71 received PRP injected intradermally /subdermally (right site of the face) and PRP combined with polyrevitalization complex (left site of the face). After 2 weeks, the effects of the treatment were assessed using Multi Skin Test Center® corneometer (Courage+Khazaka) and Fotodynamic skin analyser.

Results: The 11% improvement in wrinkles depth, 9% in pigmentation, 5% in hydration and 5% improvement of elasticity were obtained on the right site of the face. On the left site there were 17% improvement in wrinkles depth, 15% in pigmentation, 15% in hydration and 13% improvement of elasticity.

Conclusion: The study proved the effectiveness of injections using PRP and polyrevitalization complex. The combined treatment allows to achieve effective dermis reconstruction and promotes faster rehabilitation

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the use of FG-e-SVFs and FG-e-PRP in face rejuvenation and for soft tissue defect improvement.

Introduction: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a platelet concentrate that has widely been used to accelerate the healing of soft tissues.
In traditional fat grafting prepared without the enrichment with PRP and/or stromal vascular fraction cells (SVFs), dissatisfaction in terms of unpredictable
absorption rates, potential morbidities, and a lack of evidence regarding the long-term results prompted the author to describe the potential and efficacy of fat graft enhanced with adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction cells (FG-e-SVFs) and PRP (FG-e-PRP) in face soft tissue defects.

Materials / method: 33 female patients affected by face soft-tissue defects with loss of volume, study group (SG), were treated with FG-e-SVFs. Clinical evaluation, a photographic assessment, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound (US) were performed. Post-operative follow-up was performed at 1, 3, 7, 12, 24, 48,
weeks, and then annually.
15 patients affected by soft-tissue defects were treated with FG-e-PRP. (SG-1)
The results obtained in SG and SG-1 were compared with those of a control group (CG) (n = 30) treated with fat graft not enhanced (FG).

Results: SG patients showed 61% maintenance of the contour restoring and volume after 3 years compared with the CG treated with FG, who showed 31% maintenance. 60.7% (n = 20) of SG patients, presented an increase of 6.6 mm in the soft tissue volume after 36 months, which was reported in only 33,3% (n = 10) of the CG.
SG-1 patients showed 59% maintenance of the contour restoring and volume after 3 years compared with the CG treated with FG.

Conclusion: The use of FG-e-SVFs and FG-e-PRP was safe and effective in this series of a case treated.
