Objectives: The study aimed to investigate the impact of poly-D,L-lactic acid on atrophic acne scars.

Introduction: Atrophic acne scars are a common consequence of severe or untreated acne. acne scars represent an important factor of psychological discomfort in young and adult patients. There are different options that could help the patients, mostly based on laser treatments. In case of atrophic post-acne scars, the aesthetic outcome is not always satisfactory.
Poly-lactic acid is a well-known collagen stimulator FDA-approved for the treatment of HIV-induced lipodystrophy and aesthetic age-related problems. It is often used as dermal filler to improve skin texture and volume

Materials / method: A total of 12 patients participated in the study, receiving a series of three monthly injections of poly-D,L-lactic acid. Follow-up assessments were conducted three months after the final session. The aesthetic outcomes were evaluated both subjectively by the patients and by the investigators. The objective assessment involved utilizing a 3D photosystem to analyze the reduction in both the depth and width of the scars.

Results: All patients successfully completed the study without any dropouts. Throughout the follow-up period, no significant side effects were observed. Both patients and investigators expressed high levels of satisfaction with the outcomes. Objective evaluations revealed a noteworthy reduction in both the depth and width of the scars.

Conclusion: The utilization of PDLLA injections for treating atrophic acne scars appears to yield favourable aesthetic outcomes, validated by both patient and investigator assessments, as well as objective analysis through specialized software. This emerging approach presents a novel and promising option for our patients.

Objectives: Performing combination multi modalities in a single treatment can offers better results in acne scars improvement.

Introduction: Acne scarring is a severe cosmetic concern for adolescents as well for adults. Acne scarring does vary with the severity and delay of treatments. It’s usually avoidable when acne is managed early and effectively, and a potential benefit is to encourage those at risk to self-identify and to seek intervention of their acne.Acne scars are polymorphous and require a multi-dimensional treatments approach.

Materials / method: Material and Methods: Many methods have been performed to achieve a satisfying outcome but some of them are very high cost and associate with low results and complications or in other hands we can do more aggressive treatments but with high risk for complications.In our everyday practice, laser treatments, as fractional with other therapies as: PRP, stem cell, subcutaneous incision, chemical peeling, to improve scars can be safe and effective treatment to avoid complications.

Results: Combination therapies are used to facilitate the development of clinical treatments. We should take in consideration factors that influence for a better result as: genetic, scar type, location, skin phototype.

Conclusion: Early intervention, adherence with treatments; and combination modalities, are needed for the best outcomes.

Objectives: This article explores the application of needle free injection technology (NFIT) for the treatment of acne scars, stretch marks, and skin tightening using round Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), Poly-D-Lactic Acid (PDLLA), Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) and Botulinum Toxin (BTX). The study aims to investigate the safety, efficacy, and patient satisfaction associated with this innovative approach.

Introduction: NFIT is a diverse field of drug delivery systems that eliminate the need for hypodermic needles. This technology offers advantages such as reduced pain, improved patient compliance, and the potential to deliver highly viscous drugs. NFIT has garnered attention from the pharmaceutical industry and organizations like the World Health Organization and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation due to its potential in mass immunization programs and the prevention of needle stick injuries. This article focuses on NFIT's application in treating acne scars, stretch marks, and skin quality.

Materials / method: The study employs microdriplet injection techniques with PDLLA and CaHA to address the side effects of acne and improve skin texture. Additionally, the study evaluates the effectiveness of this method in reducing wrinkles and enhancing skin texture without using BTX. The research assesses patient outcomes, safety, and the duration of potential side effects such as bruising following PDLLA and CaHA microdriplet injections.

Results: NFIT makes it possible to speed up the procedure very quickly.

Introduction: Acne is one of the most frequent diseases in dermatology and is associated with a substantial negative impact on quality of life.

Acne scars can be classified in many ways, and our goal is both to prevent the development of the scars and to treat them as soon as possible to reduce the negative impact on quality of life.

Materials / method: The approach to acne scars must start from the primary factors involved in development, including the delay in going to the doctor and debunking the myths about acne scars.
At the same time, we must involve our colleagues from different specialties (pediatricians, general physicians, endocrinologists, etc.) to refer the patients to dermatologists as soon as possible.

Results: Various anti-scar strategies are available to address the signs and the impact of these acne scars.

Our approach must be individualized and personalized, integrative and holistic, modulated and adapted, complete and complex, sequentially and continuously!

The approach to patient care involves creating a customized and tailored program considering their unique needs and preferences. We strive to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach that is adapted and adjusted as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Conclusion: Creating a program for acne patients that incorporates educational programs and medical approaches (including Energy Based Devices) is essential to prevent and reduce the impact of acne scars.

This approach can help patients with effective and personalized support, improving outcomes and overall well-being.
