Objectives: underline the safe use of BoNT-A in the perioral area

Introduction: the use of BoNT-A is very well known in on labela areas like glabella and crow's feet. It's use in the perioral area is not well known.

Materials / method: Botulinum toxin, abo, ona and inco BoNT-As have been used in the perioral area fro 20 years. The best dilution for this off label area is underlined, technique of injection and points of injection are demonstrated.
Some practical results are shown in the presentation to perfectly understand how to get results avoiding complains very frequent in this area.

Results: results are shown in the presentation and discussed through the study of some practical patients. Possible complications are discussed.

Conclusion: The treatment of mimetic problems in the perioral area with BoNT-A is very effective if some simple rules are followed.
