Objectives: The aims of the study was to learn the stem cells possibilities in plastic surgery. The authors tries to estimate the effects of stem cells injection during skin rejuvenation, tissue deffect restoration, neyropraxia treatment, tissue prelamination.

Introduction: Autologous cell medicine substances, growth factors help us to cure the tissue dystrophy, aging, to compensate defects in a case of reconstruction in modern plastic surgery.The team of specialists in plastic surgery and regenerative medicine uses active elements of adipose tissue, dermis, blood to produce and cultivate autologous regenerative products.

Materials / method: Postnatal multipotent stem cells were isolated from a skin, by biopsy. Stromal-vascular fraction cells were got from 30-50 ml of lipoaspirate. All cell cultures have been cultivated in conditions of low oxygen (5%). We use our own original expansion protocols in humanized storage for cell cultivation. We have been used the cultivated postnatal multipotent stem cells (up to the 5th passage), derivatives of the neural crest, to treat the temporal and marginal branches of the facial nerve deficit of in the patient after face-lift. We have been used the ability to multilineage differentiation, including Schwann cells and the production of a large spectrum of growth factors: bFGF, VEGF,NGF, BDNF, GDNF, NT-3. Multipotent stem cells,VSF were used to stimulate the regenerative purposes of skin in patients with scars and aging of the face skin. We have been provide the usage of adipose cells in an experiment study for the cartilage tissue defects repair. All the evaluation of the studies results were carried out using histology.

Results: We had got positive results in all the cases of using stem cells. The microscopic pictures of the experimental study showed an effective replacement of the cartilage defect in 11 cases in comparison with the control group of defects, where adipose cells were not used. Skin histology of the 3 patients revealed significant changes in skin structure after intradermal administration of cultivated stem cells in the suspension of platelet poor plasma as a carrier. The significant skin changes, collagen-elastin percentage, cell layer formation, matrix filling were observed during hystology findings, compared with the controls. We had been observed (1 case) the full restoration of facial deficit, neyropraxia, in the 20 days after the local administration of cultured stem cells (neural crest derivatives) with neurotrophins suspension, in compared with low effect of the traditional cure.

Conclusion: The data, obtained in the experiment should be implemented in a clinical trial. The effectiveness of regenerative technologies should be evaluated by histological studies of tissues, although this is difficult in the clinic. The usage of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells, endothelial cells, their cultivation, growth factors in the plastic surgery have a huge perspective in complex cases of dystrophy, defects, aging tissues.

Objectives: When we perform follicular unit excision (F.U.E.) for hair restoration on alopecic scalp scars, our results are generally less satisfactory compared to FUE performed on the intact scalp. Despite lots of papers regarding lipofilling on scars, no study has been carried out regarding its use in scalp scars, alone or in combination with hair transplantation, evaluating his effect on hair follicles. Our aim is to find out if a potential use of fat graft as a booster for follicle survival could be effective in that difficult and arid recipient site.

Introduction: Fat transferred into soft tissue both acts as soft-tissue filler and has a regenerative potential because of the presence of multipotent mesenchymal stem cells, which are able to produce growth factors that activate neighboring cells. Park demonstrated that growth factors released by adipose-derived stem cells stimulate hair growth in ex vivo and in vivo animal models: platelet-derived growth factor is important in follicular development, whereas vascular endothelial growth factor and insulin-like growth factor-1 control hair growth and follicle size.

Materials / method: In this paper we describe a case report of a 42 years old patient suffering from an alopecia area of 7,2 mm x 18,5 mm in the right occipital region resulting from a dermatological operation. In the same patient, one year before, we had performed a session of FUE with poor results. Encouraged from the results of lipofilling on scars in our plastic surgery practice, we decided to perform fat grafting on our patient, 20 days before another session of FUE. We carried out a photographic, dermatoscopic and ultrasonic evaluation of the area. The fat was processed according to the Coleman technique.

Results: According to the coverage value principles, we decided to implant 78 F.U. in the area. Photographic and dermatoscopic evaluation proved that at 8 moths 92% (72 F.U.) survived, in contrast to the previous session - no lipofilling - where we documented a surviving rate of only 38%.The ultrasonic evaluation showed a reshaping in scar appearance, a thicker and more homogeneous subcutaneous layer.

Conclusion: Our datas support the hypothesis regarding the utility of the combination of lipofilling + FUE in scalp scar tissues. Furthermore we may consider to extend this approach on scars of other haired areas, like eyebrows and cheeks in male patients. More studies will be needed, in order to evaluate the best period in which perform lipofilling before FUE, how many sessions and, moreover, to take into account the possibility of performing a PRP-enriched lipofilling or nanofat.

Objectives: Object: Evaluating the feasibility of vaginal lipofilling and the results of 7 cases of painful scars or conservative treatments had no effect

As much after delivery more than 90% of episiotomies or complex tears are painful more than 10% remain at 2 months. The treatment of dyspareunia, currently remains very difficult

Materials / method: Matériaux method: Vaginal lipofilling was proposed in 7 cases of scars of painful episiotomies. The purification and injection is obtained and carried out according to classic technique of Coleman

Results: Results: One patient received a second adipocyte transplant and another a surgical excision, without the aggravation of pre-existing pain. The 5 cases (including the one that benefited from 2 sessions) resumed a satisfactory sexuality, identical to that of pre-pregnancy and 2 others less satisfactory, rated 7 and 8 on the analog scale

Conclusion: Conclusion: This short study confirms the feasibility of the technique and the results more than encouraging. The question arises as to the time to treatment, knowing all the neuro-physio pathological implications in the chronicization of pain and psycho-social factors. They should be able to enrich themselves by using activation and enrichment like PRP and emulsification or the nanofat technique

Objectives: Power assisted devices can not only used for liposution, but also for fat transfer.

Introduction: Power assisted devices are beneficial for liposuction, we wanted to find out if these are also beneficial for fat transfer.

Materials / method: Trauma effects of power assisted devices were compared to those of other liposuction devices in fresh cadavers and in vivo. The clinical effects and growth rates of fat after transfer with power assisted devices were analysed.

Results: It could clearly be seen, that less trauma after power assisted liposuction is beneficial both for the donor site and the clinical results and growth rates at the acceptor site.

Conclusion: Power assisted devices can be beneficial both for liposuction and fat collection, and the clinical results and growth rates of transferred fat.
