Objectives: To show that all dermal fillers are not created equal and describe how the physical attributes a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal filler possesses are key to not only being safe, but also to success.
Introduction: : HA dermal fillers are popular, non-permanent, injectable biopolymers commonly available to injectors and are used for restoring lost volume in the face and correcting soft tissue defects.
Materials / method: This presentation describes the safety profile and mechanical properties new HA dermal filler.
Results: The purity of the HA used is crucial to the endotoxin levels present, especially in patients that have preexisting inflammatory conditions.
Conclusion: The ideal HA dermal filler should possess a unique combination of attributes, which is why all HA dermal fillers are not created equal. This presentation covers a new dermal filler.
