Objectives: Thigh gap has become the standard of beauty because it means slimness and thin thighs.
Introduction: It is impossible to get it after a regular horizontal inner thigh lift alone with the scar hidden in the crease.
Materials / method: The only way to get is to reduce the width skin excess at the same time as the length skin excess.
The technique used to achieve such a result is a mixing of vertical and horizontal resection that the author calls oblique technique. At the end, we have a L-shaped scar line that allows to perfectly treat the double skin excess. The length of each branch of the scar depends on the size of the two skin excesses in length and in width.
Results: Of course, we carry on to use the principles of the body contouring surgery we described 10 years ago : separation of the resection of fat and skin, no undermining whatsoever and no drain.
