Objectives: There are many diverse skin problems. With only one treatment, they
Cannot be managed. We show which indications need a combination of
of fractional micro needle RF & High intensity focused ultrasound
technology.
Introduction: Focus dual is the combination device of fractional micro needle RF & High intensity focused ultrasound technology.
The device can be used from acne treatment to lifting. The two handpieces on Focus Dual are both non-invasive for the epidermis.
Materials / method: When micro-needles are injected into the skin, on the same Bi-polar RF will also be delivered simultaneously to the skin. The RF energy in 0,5-3 mm depth initiates regeneration of collagen and elastin without damaging the superficial skin layers and causing no downtime
This way acne scars, hypothrophic scars, ageing skin and dilated pores
improve. By adjusting proper needling depth and fluence each indication can be customized.
High intensity focused ultrasound also is a non-invasive treatment that
does not damage the epidermis.
4 cartridges allow to treat selectively various depths
Results: Best results werde obtained in Skin tightening,Acne scars treatment, Anti-wrinkle, Skin lifting and Skin brightening . Parameters and combined approaches need to be customized according the degree of ageing, severety of the skin condition and , patients expectation and the ability of the patient to accept more or less painful treatments
Conclusion: Combining two non invasive types of procedures increases the effectiveness in many indications and decreases downtime and side effects and offfers additional options to avoid invasive procedures
