Clinic - Start competing and stop complaining

Objectives: The objective is to encourage audience to embrace competition and to give them a better perspective of why competing rather than complaining gives you sustainability. You can survive in this industry better when they embrace competition.

Introduction: Social media marketing has become inevitable, with every clinic claiming to be the best, and every device and products claiming to be the best and clinically and scientific based proven, patients have become more confused than ever. The objectives of this lecture is to give audience a good perspective of what are the competition out there and how to compete wisely and how they can raise their digital presence. Is the clinic competing or complaining?

Materials / method: powerpoint presentation.

Results: hopefully audience will start to embrace competition and increase customer experince and pricing is not the only way to compete.

Conclusion: It iss a known fact that aesthetic industry in ugly industry, competition is high and due to highly unregulated industry, competition has also become ruthless. Hopefully this talk can give a different perspective about competition and it can be healthy and friendly and encourging each other to raise a higher standards to give to the patients.

How to host an efficient and lucrative patient event

Objectives: The objective of my abstract is to share and educate on how to promote your practice . By hosting an efficient patient event that has both the benefits of a casual learning experience and promotes education, involving the products and procedures performed in the practice. The end experience is to drive new patients to the practice and /or get current patients to learn about additional available.

Introduction: With the competition environment that we all live in, having a casual educational environment will bring current patients back into the practice as well as those patients who are not comfortable making an appointment to see a physician but will be comfortable coming to a cocktail party type event to learn about the latest and greatest in cosmetic and anti-aging procedures. And there's gift bags, gift certificates to make the event more exciting.

Materials / method: Power Point Presentation guiding steps on how to make a successful patient event.

Results: Learn pearls of wisdom and go home with some exciting ways to promote and make your patient events exciting, newsworthy and profitable.

Conclusion: Patient events are a great way to present to both the patients and the community what new and exciting procedures you are performing or what new devices you currently have in your practice. Its a great way to have a reason to do a press release and get your current / previous patients coming back for more. Its a win/win for all.

How technology is improving your patient medical/customer service experience

Objectives: Technology is changing rapidly in the medical field as new inventions are taking place on daily basis. Technology is getting shaped in Infront of us daily with the inventions such as VR/AR, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or others. We need to build an understanding that technology is available to help us and to work hand in hand with humans to achieve great results and build positive experiences in minds of patients.

Results: Technology can improve the efficiency of your medical facility by minimizing costs, minimizing wastes, saves time as it is less time-consuming, and opens the path for healthcare providers to provide patients with better treatments occupied by less suffering.

Conclusion: Physicians can go through a phase of resistance toward technology and the use of digital Healthcare, which is a normal feeling that is commonly known as “fear of the unknown”. The process of getting familiarized with technology to become easier to be used always starts with highlighting the benefits of this technology and how it will help the overall facility to generate more income and build a positive customer care experience. Introduction: Social media has become a vital way for people to connect and communicate. As consumers spend more time on social networks, they are beginning to have much more profound effects on our behaviors and attitudes, which alters the marketing landscape for business utilizing these platforms in their regular strategies. In fact, social media now plays a pivotal role in presenting medical aesthetics as a feasible option for consumers active on the platforms.

Materials / method: Here we present our most influential regional Social Media platform, gathering more than 200k active followers. We present step by step Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok tips and trick of our influential social media channel, how we attracted and retain followers as well as growing our practice through social media.

Conclusion: While patients’ individual aesthetic choices are certainly influenced by many factors, including age, relationship status, income, and more, social media is becoming uniquely powerful in shaping personal perceptions of beauty and motivating aesthetic purchasing decisions.

How a new social media approach and new media strategy can make a difference to engage patients

Objectives: This communication wants to demonstrate that the intensive use of social media channels by consumers is an excellent opportunity for aesthetic medicine professionals and brands to increase consideration and higher trust among patients, developing an ownable story telling to normalize medical aesthetics.
Clínicas Dorsia, as European leader within the market, has created, developed, and tested an ad-hoc strategy that corroborates it.

Materials / method: What do our audience like to watch? We don’t film models, but real patients with whom our audience can engage. We have decided to publish more videos, not only on Youtube or Tik Tok, but on Facebook and Instagram reels, getting benefit of trendy music or viral challenges. In addition to this, we have incorporated memes to our content generating content with the speed that the social conversation happens. Also, we like posting surveys or questions that make our followers interact with our messages.

Results: In terms of engagement, the impact of communication on our social media community, per 1.000 people reached, is 44.94% and 61% in the case of Facebook. In terms of followers, the growth on Instagram MoM is 2% and, in the case of Facebook, 1.5%. Facebook and Instagram are excellent drivers of lead acquisition, and, in December'21, we had an increase of 83% compared to January with a MoM growth of 25%. Some of our contents reached 3.3M views on Tik Tok, where we lead the market with 28.851 followers. The last two months, we have increase +325.1% in video views, +236.14% in our profile’s views.

Conclusion: The interaction with patients not only seeks the consolidation of a community, also, help patients to discover and understand in which way aesthetics can meet their needs. To provide quick and easy access to relevant information about procedures is key for the brand success, but as well for patients’ that wants to get relevant information and entertainment. To talk in a clear way and answer any question where people enjoy and share their favorite things in life (1 hour 53 minutes/day of time spending) has provided us brand awareness, but also growth based on the satisfaction of patients.

The Uberisation of aesthetics - A new app for instant conversations

Objectives: The audience will learn about a disruptive new application that transforms how patients find and interact with aesthetic medical professionals and clinics. They will see how patients embrace technology and digital products and discover the novel user interface that connects people to professionals such as plastic surgeons, dermatologists and aesthetic clinics using MeTime.

Introduction: As the aesthetic industry grows at a relentless pace, the landscape has become confusing for patients and even for aesthetic medical professionals. With so many products, devices, and doctors available, searching online directories or Google can be confusing. Busy clinics struggle with jumbled email threads and complex CRM platforms that hinder, rather than help, business growth. MeTime was developed to make it simple for patients to find and chat with the right aesthetic medical professionals, be assessed remotely, and book in for treatments or care.

Materials / method: The MeTime mobile app was released in 2021 after over a year of intensive development. The app is available on the app stores globally and is free to download. Patients input areas they want to improve, upload photos, select preferences and submit their journey. They are instantly matched with aesthetic medical professionals who begin the conversation through the app. The unique integrated platform for medical professionals enhances patient experience. Video consultation, saved replies, and payment functionality are all designed to save time and boost business growth.

Results: Since deploying the minimum viable product, MeTime has been downloaded over 6000 times and key opinion leaders have been using the application for usability testing. Patients connect seamlessly and readily upload photos, chat, and make payments through the secure Stripe integration. The app is GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Patients report ease of use and extreme convenience, citing other popular apps like Uber and Just Eat.

Conclusion: The younger generations--Gen Z and Millenials--naturally use mobile apps for daily interactions. However, the simplicity of MeTime enables Gen X and even Boomers to connect through their smartphone with aesthetic medical professionals. They are embracing the digital transformation in aesthetics. MeTime is positioned to be the easiest connection between the consumer and the aesthetics industry, literally becoming the digital place to beautiful. Development continues to enhance the application for both sides of the network, making life easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
