Objectives: To discuss SofWave (parallel beam ultrasound technology) to help lift the brow, face, and neck and its applications in the plastic surgeon's practice.

Introduction: Parallel beam ultrasound technology has evolved into an efficacious and safe treatment to noninvasively lift the face and neck, as well as treat cellulite.

Materials / method: This is a part of a multi-speaker panel on the topic of SofWave technology.

Results: Educational material as well as before and after photographs will be discussed especially as it relates to pre and postoperative adjunctive treatment in the plastic surgery practice.

Conclusion: Parallel beam ultrasound technology is a safe and effective energy based device that can be a useful adjunct to the medical spa as a stand-alone treatment or in combination with other aesthetic treatments, surgical and nonsurgical.
