Objectives: find the best indications for preservation rhinoplasty
find the best candidates to obtain stable results
Introduction: Preservation Rhinoplasty(PR)is not a new technique but has a lot evolved during this last years :
-sub-perichondrial approach
-high strip or low strip
-tranverse osteotomy and lateral osteotomy
-tip work
Materials / method: 80 Preservation rhinoplasties have been performed by the authors since 2018 with increasing of the indications after 2022
Results: best results was obtained for precise indications
-primary caucasian RP
-Tension nose and hyperprojected nose
-naso-frontal angle in a normal position
-crooked nose with a straight PPE and slight septum deviation
Conclusion: in 10 % of cases a small hump recurrence needed a retouch after one year
no major complication
good satisfaction of our patients in the majority of cases
