Objectives: This presentation will discuss and analyze the different new approaches to the treatment of inflammatory acne and post acne pigmentation , erythema, and scarring.
Introduction: Acne is one of the most prevalent skin conditions, often occurring during adolescence, affecting up to 80% of this age group. Acne scars are a usual consequence of acne, which can occur in up to 95% of patients, with facial acne equally common in men and women
Materials / method: The presentation explored and analyzed different recent studies regarding new treatments, combinations, and early intervention to minimize post acne sequala, such as post acne pigmentation, erythema, and scarring, based on many publications and consensus.
Results: The efficacy of various treatment modalities was highlighted, with a focus on choosing the correct modalities for acne, post acne sequala
Conclusion: Recently, there are many publications that reveal the role of different emerging treatments for inflammatory acne and post acne sequalae
