Objectives: The aim of this presentation is to address both indications and limitations of buttock implant augmentation surgery and to present our experience in performing it safely.

Introduction: Buttock augmentation surgery is in very high demand. According to the latest Aesthetic Surgery Databank, it is in the 6th place of all aesthetic procedures. Fat grafting is still far more popular, but buttock implant surgery has some advantages over fat grafting and therefore more and more patients are choosing it.

Materials / method: We present a short video explaining the whole procedure.

Results: The examples of female and male buttock augmentation surgery with implants are presented, as well as the most frequent complications.

Conclusion: Although with a high complication rate, this surgery has a very high satisfaction rate both among patients and surgeons. To avoid the most frequent complications we suggest the use of an intramuscular pocket, and to leave drains until the drainage is less than 50ml/day.

Objectives: Buttock volume augmentation, commonly known as Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), is one of the fastest growing procedures in plastic surgery. However, statistically it comes with a high percentage of deaths and thus in older statistics seems to be the aesthetic procedure with the highest mortality. But is it that easy?
An expansion-vibration-lipofilling (EVL) option of pure extra-muscular fat grafting is shown in order to reduce the risks of this high demanded procedure with tips and tricks for daily business.
