Objectives: The most promising areas for facial rejuvenation are the frontal and temporal areas.
Involution changes affect the frontal and temporal zones following fat packets involution, ptosis, retraction of temporal zone.
Introduction: The procedures of facial countering often need to start with the upper third of face.
Materials / method: This review is based on the authors clinical experience in treating the temporal and frontal areas for aesthetic purposes.
Results: The frontal area consists of 5 layers. The safest layer for injections of hyaluronic acid fillers is the supraperirest level. There are 10 layers in the temporal zone, and the safest method is an interfactional injection.
The report presents techniques of correction of the temporal and frontal areas to increase the volume and obtain the lifting effect, as well as techniques of the suspension lifting.
Conclusion: This report provides a detailed anatomical overview of the temple and forehead areas, describing safe injection techniques from an anatomical and aesthetic result perspective, as well as methods to avoidя unwanted effects during facial rejuvenation.
