Objectives: Explore the efficacy of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy in decreasing adverse events after ablative fractional laser

Objectives: 1)To evaluate the efficacy of fractional microneedle radiofrequency for acne scars
2)To record the feedback of patients who have undergone the microneedle radiofrequency procedure

Introduction: Microneedle radiofrequency for acne scars has become one of the popular treatments of choice for acne scars amongst patients . Points in favour of the procedure are mostly lesser downtime & efficacy. But there are added benefits to the patients as well. Here we asses the clinical efficacy of the MNRF procedure for acne scars and also bring forward the patients' perspective in the form of a post treatment questionairre.

Materials / method: A group of 23 patients were recruited for the study. They were to be given four sessions of micro needle radiofrequency , four weeks apart . Patients were assesed for scar grading three months after the final session. At the same time , a questionairre was handed over to the patients where they shared their experience objectively

Results: 21 patients completed four sessions. Mild adverse effects recorded were pain , erythema , edema and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation ; which were self limiting. Overall improvement by at least one grade was seen in 82% patients. Improvement in scars could be appreciated as early as post one month follow up.The objective questionairre revealed high satisfaction rate among patients.

Conclusion: Microneedle radiofrequency is a safe well tolerated and efficacious procedure for acne scars in Indian skin .
Patient feedback & satisfaction rates help physicians gauge as well as improve treatments

Objectives: To treat patients with the both partial undereye bags and tear trough with HIFU and undereye filler combination . It will be a good treatment for patients who want to undergo non surgical correction

Introduction: we all know HIFU or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound can help firm, elevate and rejuvenate the skin. This stimulates the natural production of collagen and renews the skin. As a result, puffiness is reduced and the skin around the eyes is lifted.
While lower eyelid surgery is an effective, long-term treatment for the lower eyelids bags , dermal filler applied can achieve smooth volume under the eyes, resolving dark circles , balancing puffy bags and reduces tear trough .
So to correct both the conditions that is the bags and the tear trough

Materials / method: 15 patients with partial eyebag and tear trough were chosen
High intensity focussed ultrasound was done on the upper half of the face 3 months once depending on the intensity of the eyebag and later patients was called back after few months to do the dermal filler . Volift was the chosen filler of choice for this area and was given in the tear trough area.

most of them responded very well with HIFU and filler
1 patient did not come back for follow up
10 patients undereye area became normal after treatment

2 patients looked good after treatment but needed extra filler to be added to give better results

Conclusion: The combination of eyebags with tear trough is quite challenging in our regular practise . As we know sometimes with partial bags and giving Ha FILLERS , sometimes the eyebag can look more oedematous and not aesthetic .
But combining HIFU and FILLER helped the
hifu targets and treats the 3 main factors that worsen eyebag appearance – muscle and ligamentous laxity, thin skin and accumulation of under-eye fats.
and filler helped to fill up the volume loss under the tear trough

Objectives: Modern acne therapy should always combine several treatment pillars. Since highly inflammatory acne carries a high risk of permanent scars, we recommend intensifying the therapy at an early stage, also with low-dose isotretinoin.
Laser and light-based procedures are nowadays an integral part of the therapy of acne patients of all ages, as they are very potent and have few side-effects. PDL laser treatments result in the reduction of inflammatory triggers as well as sebum production. We recommended an intensified combination therapy consisting of PDL laser treatment vs low dose isotretinoin

Introduction: Laser and light-based technologies have expanded the therapeutic arsenal for acne, and can improve the skin appearance of inflammatory acne and scarring in a short time, which increases patient compliance and satisfaction. Depending on the severity of acne , it is treated topically or in combination with systemic medication. As a result, the inflammation and the severity of the acne, improves quickly and significantly. This is most likely due to reduced sebum production, which rebalances the skin microbiome. PDL also leads to a histologically confirmed reduction of inflammatory cells.

Materials / method: We presented 4 case reports of patients ( 25-36 years old). All patients have severe acne and a long history of non-effective treatment. Our goal was a combination of energy-based devices (PDL/IPL therapy) with isotretinoine (low doses ( 8-16 max mg ,during the long time for cumulative effect).
All patients have a perfect retrospective result ( after 6,9 months)
All treatment protocols, patients satisfaction levels and blood analysis we present during 3,6,9 months and 12 months after treatment

Results: After a total of three sessions done in a period of three weeks (one session per week), there was almost a total disappearance of the acne and facial postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. The patients and the operator were satisfied with the results obtained after each application, and finally, at the third session, a decision was made to end the treatment because of the satisfactory results obtained. Moreover, this protocol did not show any side effects, pain, or discomfort during and/or after treatment and within three months of follow-up.

Conclusion: We recommended an intensified combination therapy consisting of PDL laser treatment , isotretinoin and topical skin treatment with acne-specific wash lotions, as well as an antibacterial and cornification dissolving peeling gel.
In addition, we recommended combined laser treatments to the patient to improve inflammation and skin texture. Objectives: Skin laxity due to aging is a disease directly related to the patient's psychological problems and the quality of life that interferes with daily life. Therefore, prevention and timely treatment are needed. Radiofrequency has emerged as a leading technology for preserving facial elasticity, attributed to its enduring effects and significant improvement outcomes. Radiofrequency therapy is based on the principle of using high-frequency electrical energy to transfer heat energy to body tissues.

Introduction: We developed a Monopolar Radiofrequency device to improve patient comfort during the procedure and achieve treatment effectiveness in a single session through enhanced energy delivery. This study presents the outcomes of applying innovative technology while developing a monopolar radiofrequency device.

Materials / method: The developed device measures impedance in real-time and provides feedback regardless of skin type. Patients find enhanced energy delivery favorable because it improves their pain during the procedure and achieves treatment effectiveness with only one session. This enables customized treatments tailored to individual skin conditions, leading to more effective outcomes. Achieving uniformity in the heating pattern has minimized uneven areas on the skin surface, enhancing safety and efficacy.

Results: The treatment mechanism combines cooling and heating to deliver uniform energy to subcutaneous tissue while cooling the epidermis. We observed temperature changes in tissue depth depending on the irradiation method, confirming the efficacy of various cooling combinations and the impact of cooling time on temperature changes. Regardless of the irradiation method, cooling was consistently applied to the skin surface while heat was generated in deep tissues.

Conclusion: Developing a monopolar radiofrequency treatment device represents a novel approach to facial rejuvenation. Incorporating technical features such as heat transfer methods, skin surface cooling, pain reduction with vibration, and real-time impedance matching enhances treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction. These technical advancements provide a new perspective on facial rejuvenation, offering a promising solution for addressing aging-related concerns with improved efficacy and comfort.

Objectives: Existing studies often experiment with restricted parameters, such as single wavelength, spot size, energy density, or pulse duration. Given the potential for different penetrative depths and interactions with chromophores under combined exposure of long pulsed 1064nm & 755nm, our hypothesis posits that the alexandrite laser may offer further regenerative benefits, contributing to an overall improvement in facial contour, skin laxity, uneven skin tone, and erythema.

Introduction: The long-pulsed neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) laser has a well-established track record of safety and efficacy in addressing key manifestations of photoaging, including wrinkles, sagging, skin laxity, erythema, uneven texture, and pigmentation. Its specific wavelength of 1064 nm enables profound dermal photothermal damage, leading to enhanced collagen synthesis and dermal remodeling. Although long-pulsed alexandrite laser lacks sufficient data on its effectiveness in skin rejuvenation, it is widely used for treating vascular conditions, benign skin lesions, and hair removal.

Materials / method: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of addressing different skin layers and chromophores using a dual-wavelength long-pulsed laser (755 and 1064 nm) for treating facial contour, laxity, uneven skin tone, and erythema. A total of 20 participants aged 40–65 years with Fitzpatrick phototype III-IV were enrolled. The study utilized a dual-wavelength long-pulsed alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser. 4 sequential laser parameters were applied in a single treatment session over the full face. Follow-ups were conducted at 2 weeks and 1 month following treatment.

Results: The dual-wavelength long-pulsed 755 nm/1064 nm laser demonstrates significant improvement in facial contour, skin laxity, erythema, and uneven skin tone. At 2 weeks, 92% of participants noted improvement to a certain extent (grade 5 or higher on a 10-point PSI scale) in facial contouring and skin laxity, with 70% and 100% reporting improvements in erythema and uneven skin tone, respectively. By 1 month, a decline in PSI was observed to 60%, 66%, 66%, and 47% for the four outcome measures. Pain during the procedure was generally well tolerated, with participants reporting mild to moderate.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the dual-wavelength long-pulsed alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser offer safe and effective solutions for addressing aged contour, laxity, uneven skin tone, and erythema. Although the effects persist over a 1-month period, the decline in PSI suggests the need for further maintenance sessions.

Objectives: To illustrate the effect of low-fluence Q-switched 1064nm laser in the treatment of pigmented diseases in chinese patients.

Introduction: Targeting melanosome-laden melanocytes, Q-switched lasers, with various wavelengths, have advanced the management of pigmented diseases. Among all Q-switched lasers, the penetration of the QS Nd: YAG 1064nm laser is deepest, and this wavelength is more suitable for darker skin. Recently, the low-fluence 1064nm laser has been proven effective, bringing less adverse effects and better outcomes.

Materials / method: Treatment parameters for the LFQS 1064nm laser were fluence of 1.9-3.0J/cm2, a spot size of 7.0-8.0mm, and a frequency of 10Hz, with clinical endpoint as moderate erythema with a few petechiae.
Four patients, with CALM or nevus of Ota, were presented in this article.

Results: The lesion gradually reached a clearance of more than 95% in all cases. No adverse event, such as hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blister and scar, was reported. After simple application of lidocaine cream, all patients, even children, could endure the pain that laser brought.

Conclusion: Low-fluence Q-switched Nd:YAG laser can be an alternative in the treatment of pigmented diseases, with amazing outcomes and less adverse effects. Moreover, compared to lasers with traditional high fluence, LFQS 1064nm laser is more comfortable and accepted, especially for children patients.

Objectives: We can use Laser Assisted Drug Delivery as one of the modalities to manage massive keloid scar in children.

Introduction: Laser assisted drug delivery is one of the drug delivery technique that is used to improve the efficacy of local skin treatment. Ablative Fractional Laser is widely used for this purpose. Nowadays, LADD has shown to be effective for the treatment of actinic keratosis, cutaneous SCC in situ, actinic cheilitis, hypertrophic scars, and keloids.

Materials / method: An-11 years old boy was referred to our hospital with massive keloid scar due to hot water splash, this boy refused corticosteroid intralesional injection since he was injected many times already by his hometown dermatologist without any improvement. We decided to do LADD with triamcinolone acetonide once a month.

Results: We can see the improvement after 1 year. Keloid becomes thinner and patient was very comply with this method of treatment. He feel much better in his keloid scar and he can do all his activities again without restriction.

Conclusion: Laser Assisted Drug Delivery can be one of the modalities for managing massive keloid scar which does not comply with Intralesional Injection.
