Objectives: introduction of Asian Association of Hair restoration Society

Introduction: Asian Association of Hair restoration society is a scientific society for the collaboration and promotion of hair restoration in Asian countries.
This is a platform which helps many young asian doctors who can't pay huge annual fee to travel to other US based or European based societies. It has a minimal fee and the benefits are same.
The doctor is exposed to many internationally acclaimed experienced hair restorative surgeons, with different experience in the field. There is always a live surgery workshop associated with the annual conference, which is rotated in all asian countries.

Materials / method: as this society is assorted with the global council of ISHRS, the attendance is also taken as an experience towards American Board Hair restoration exams. The membership has a great benefit of becoming friends with many such doctors who are there around the clock to help you in any kind of clinical opinion.

Objectives: The objective of this paper is to highlight the importance of factors that would lead to the creation of a naturally looking hair restoration. My believe is, "a great hair restoration is seen by every one, but recognised by none".

Introduction: Hair restoration has moved on from pluggy barbie doll hair to undetectable hair line. The concept of hair restoration is now about framing of the face and making your look younger.
The hair transplant dates back to almost start of 20th Century in japan, but was forgotten till the middle of the century. Initially, it started with 4 to 5 mm punches and then moved on to a strip method. Recently by the start of 21st century, micro punches of 0.7-0.9 mm have replaced 5mm ones and is now called as FUE (follicular unit excision).

Materials / method: In order to get a natural looking hair line, Five Important factors are kept in mind
1): Avoidance of a straight line
2): Keeping a transition zone between the bare forehead and the dense packing
3): Density
4): The acute angle of exit from the skin and
5): The angle of curvature of the hair shaft.

Results: In my experience since the incorporation of angle of curvature of the hair shaft was done, the
naturalness of the hair line improved significantly. This is especially true for the frontal hair
rows, the fronto-temporal angles and the temporal peaks.
Hair transplant can also be used for non scalp hair restoration like beard, mustaches etc. One can use it for treating trauma like burns. In essesence hair restoration is not just about aesthetics but also a part of reconstruction.

Conclusion: if one follows these simple steps they will create a natural looking hair transplant surgery and framing of the face.

Objectives: Computer science defines AI research as the study of "intelligent agents": any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals. A more elaborate definition characterizes AI as “a system’s ability to correctly interpret external data, to learn from such data, and to use those learnings to achieve specific goals and tasks through flexible adaptation”.

Introduction: Artificial Intelligence means the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.

Results: In hair transplant or in the field of medical science AI is becoming prominent due to its help in eliminating human error,identifying a whole lot of scenarios which a human mind cannot recollect or store and even perform task repeatedly at the same efficiency from the first action till the last without fatigue and with precision.

Conclusion: This talk is about Artitificial Intelligence in hair transplant and what is available in the market at our perusal now and also how it can help us achieve consistent guaranteed results repeatedly.

Objectives: Complications in surgery are very unpleasant and often difficult to handle. It is an unexpected or poor result which hampers the final outcome or delays it.
Hair transplant like any surgery has the possibilities of many unfortunate results or complications. Here we attempt to identify them and prevent and treat them.

Introduction: Hair transplant is a minor surgical procedure. The rate of complications in transplants have been reported to be as high as 2-8 percent in certain papers. most of them are self limiting , reversible and can be easily managed. A few of them can trouble even the most experienced surgeons.

Materials / method: We have divided the complications into early onset and late onset. Further we have divided the late onset into aesthetic and medical complications.
Aesthetic complications are mostly always due to poor surgical techniques. Hence proper training and how to avoid them is very crucial.

Results: We have attempted to identify the complications and treat them. We have listed in detail how to completely avoid them or prevent them.

Conclusion: we hope this talk will help the novice surgeon as well as the experienced hair transplant surgeon.
avoiding complications is key to great results as well as a hassel free post operative recovery.

Objectives: Hair plays a significant role in shaping the appearance of an individual. Loss of hair can lead to serious effects on social esteem of an individual. The most common cause of hair loss is Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA).This hereditary disorder followed a specific pattern causing progressive thinning of hair in both Men and Women. There are many therapies prescribed, but each of these therapies come with their own set of pros and cons.

The objective of this paper is to discuss the use of a patented, novel, growth factor formulation in hair growth & to evaluate the evidence available for the same.

Introduction: The aim of the current study is to list and evaluate the evidence for the efficacy of therapy with this patented, novel, growth factor formulation, in the treatment of Male Androgenetic Alopecia, Female Pattern Hair Fall, in Alopecia Areata, in Chemotherapy Induced Hair Fall and in Seborrheic Dermatitis. The objective is also to compare the efficacy when compared with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. Safety and efficacy of this formulation is also evaluated, as are various methods for the administration of the same.

Materials / method: Various published papers on the formulation will be evaluated, as will be evaluated the current data on file, pending publication.

Results: Evidence forms the bedrock of our practice and as such, the current evidence seems to suggest that this patented, novel, growth factor formulation is a very promising and exciting non-surgical addition to the global hair growth scenario.

Conclusion: Data and the published evidence suggests that this patented, novel, hair growth factor formulation works really well in various types of hair loss and alopecia. The evidence shows a far greater efficacy than PRP therapy, in comparison.
