How to enhance the periorbital region: Association between surgical and non surgical procedures
Objectives: The aim of the presentation is to enhance surgical outcomes by incorporating non-surgical techniques. By utilizing various treatments such as fillers, mesotherapy, neuromodulators, and lasers on the forehead, eyebrow, and eyelids, the researchers aim to optimize results and satisfy both young and old patients.
Introduction: the aesthetics of the upper face, specifically focusing on the forehead, brow, and upper eyelid. It mentions that blepharoplasty, a common facial plastic procedure, is often performed in conjunction with other techniques for a more comprehensive approach to the lid and brow complex. The paper also highlights the increasing trend in younger patients seeking a fresh and natural appearance.
Materials / method: According to the indication and the case, eye rejuvenation meant the need for invasive surgical
treatments like blepharoplasty, browlift, nano and micro fat transfer .
Minimally invasive or non invasive procedures wich includes botulium toxin, dermal filler injections,
laser, laser skin resurfacing, have increasingly become a necessity in association to invasive
procedures to achieve best results for the periorbital rejuvenation.
Results: Through this presentation, we emphasize the importance for plastic surgeons to analyze sagging skin, quality of the skin, and loss of volume in their patients. By offering a combination of surgical and non-surgical treatments, they aim to address these factors and provide satisfactory results to their patients.
Conclusion: We aim to demonstrate the importance of utilizing surgical and non-surgical techniques in combination to improve outcomes in upper face aesthetics. We highlight the need to analyze factors such as sagging skin, skin quality, and volume loss. By offering a comprehensive approach, they aim to provide satisfactory results to patients seeking a natural and youthful appearance.
