Introduction: Eyebrow enhancement plays a vital role in facial aesthetics. Fat grafting has emerged as a minimally invasive technique for improving eyebrow contour and volume. This study reviews clinical outcomes from fat grafting procedures for eyebrow enhancement, highlighting efficacy, safety, and optimal techniques based on retrospective case analyses.
Materials / method: A retrospective review was conducted on 82 patients who underwent eyebrow fat grafting between 2017 and 2023. Fat was harvested via manual liposuction, processed using mechanical dissociation, and injected into the eyebrow region. Standardized patient selection, injection techniques, and postoperative care were applied. Outcomes were assessed using an algorithm, photographic comparison, and patient satisfaction surveys.
Results: At six months post-procedure, 87% of patients reported high satisfaction with eyebrow shape and volume. Objective photographic analysis confirmed improved eyebrow contour and subtle elevation in most cases. Complications were minimal, with only transient swelling and bruising reported in 15% of patients, resolving within two weeks. No major complications occurred.
Conclusion: Fat grafting for eyebrow enhancement is a safe, effective, and reliable procedure when performed with proper technique and patient selection. The retrospective analysis demonstrates high satisfaction rates and low complication risks. This approach offers a natural alternative to surgical lifts or fillers, with potential for long-lasting aesthetic improvement.
