Objectives: Emphasize the use of ultrasound in the aesthetic practice
Introduction: To date, most of the aesthetic procedures are performed and monitored in their results under the naked eye examination. However, multiple reports of early and late complications may be prevented or early managed, if an imaging modality can detect them
Materials / method: Review the role of ultrasound in aesthetics and how it can support daily work.
Results: Clinical and ultrasonographic correlations will be provided to illustrate the points.
Conclusion: Ultrasound can support aesthetic procedures at all phases and can be a powerful tool to detect complications early
