Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of a new formulation based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, amino acids and polynucleotides for the deep injections to stimulate the connective structures of the face as ligaments and septa by regeneration of extracellular matrix, hence, to improve sagging of the face

Introduction: The ageing process involves all the structures and tissues of the face. Connective tissue with the extracellular matrix is one of the most important supporting structures mostly composed of collagen fibres which degrade with age. Inducing neocollagenesis in the subcutaneous structures by deep injections of a new formulation based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, amino acids and polynucleotides we suppose to slow down the ageing process

Materials / method: 15 patients with sagginess underwent 3 monthly sessions of deep injections (in the periosteal layer) of a new product. The evaluation of the outcome was made 3 months after the last session using a GAIS questionnaire (subjective evaluation) and 3D photosystem ( objective evaluation of wrinkles conditions and vectors of lifting)

Results: All the patients reported good to high satisfaction. The objective evaluation showed a tangible improvement in wrinkles conditions and light to moderate lifting effect.

Conclusion: The study showed that the new formulation based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, amino acids and polynucleotides is an innovative option for the regeneration of the subcutaneous connective tissue and extracellular matrix.

Introduction: Debido al creciente aumento en la práctica clínica de una población de pacientes cada vez más heterogénea, cuando se habla de tratamiento estético se deben considerar varios factores que influyen en los estereotipos de belleza, que implican la edad, el origen étnico, el sexo y la personalidad del paciente. Por esta visión más amplia sería más preciso cuando se habla de tratamiento de medicina estética, usar el término de armonización facial. Donde utilizaremos diferentes tratamientos para lograr estos objetivos.

Materials / method: Las fuentes utilizadas incluyen la búsqueda bibliográfica de la literatura científica a través de PUBMED.
En el presente texto se describirá un caso clínico de armonización global del rostro a través de un protocolo de tratamientos combinados. Se llevó a cabo de acuerdo con los principios de la Declaración de Helsinki de la Asociación Médica Mundial.
La elección del paciente para tratamiento de “full face” ha sido justificada por los siguientes factores:
·Presencia de signos globales de fotoenvejecimiento
·Disponibilidad a recibir los tratamientos propuestos
·Exigencias del paciente

Results: El análisis de los resultados incluye valoración de los efectos de los tratamientos tras cada sesión y valoración final global mediante comparación fotográfica, WSRS y grado de satisfacción sujetiva de la paciente. Se realizó seguimiento fotográfico al finalizar el trabajo y a los 60 días. Se tuvo en cuenta además el impacto psicosocial sobre la paciente posterior a los tratamientos realizados. No se usaron escalas de valoración al respecto.

Conclusion: El mantenimiento de la naturalidad sin alteraciones de la forma del rostro y el gasto limitado de producto garantiza satisfacción del paciente, impacto psicosocial positivo y fidelización para tratamientos futuros. La combinación de las técnicas elegidas a través de un buen conocimiento anatómico y un diagnóstico completo se considera una herramienta indispensable para el tratamiento del rejuvenecimiento del rostro.
Se ha establecido un protocolo básico de tratamientos combinados de armonización facial que puede ser de gran ayuda a los médicos que se inician en la Medicina Estética.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to establish the effectiveness and safety of a new formula of chemical peel, administrated in a single session in the vulvar and perineal area, for bleaching.

Introduction: Vulvar melanosis represents a frequent complain in our daylily practice.

Materials / method: Thirty-five patients, with vulvar and/or perineal hyperpigmentation, were recruited for this trial. They were treated with one single session with a new combination of chemical peel. The treatment consisted of: firstly, application of the peeling and neutralization after 7 minutes, secondly, application of the depigmenting mask in a multilayer manner and covered with a special occlusive film. Lastly, two hours after being using the mask, the patients removed the occlusive film and the intimate mask at home with water. Two days after, the patients started using the depigmenting cream at bedtime

Results: A significant reduction of the pigment in the skin of the treated area was observed in all patients, post-treatment. In addition, significant improvement in the glow and tightness of the skin was observed too. Likert scale examination showed that all treated patients were satisfied with the final outcome achieved.

Conclusion: Our results show that the use of this new formula of intimate chemical peel, successfully reduced the pigment and improved the quality of the skin in the treated area, achieving an optimal vulvar and perineal bleaching.
