Objectives: Established in 1999, the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery ACCS) is a not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary fellowship based body. It is an academic training institution uniquely dedicated to study and education in the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery and medicine.

Introduction: Along with all medical and scientific studies, cosmetic surgery and medicine is evolving rapidly. Accordingly patients demand of practitioners specific, contemporary knowledge and skills in the procedures they seek. The ACCS has sought to provide patients with a resource of appropriately qualified and dedicated medical practitioners who have attained its fellowship.

Materials / method: The ACCS has trained scores of medical practitioners to fellowship status since its foundation 22 years ago. To attain ACCS fellowship suitably qualified trainees undergo a lengthy training course and then pass written & viva examination. All fellows must subsequently maintain college sanctioned quality assurance to retain fellowship status.

Results: The ACCS has become a very successful academic institution providing a dedicated training facility for suitably qualified medical practitioners. The attainment of an ACCS fellowship is a highly sought after and valued post graduate medical qualification.

Conclusion: The ACCS awards successful medical trainees with an unique and dedicated post-graduate fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery and/or Cosmetic Medicine.

Objectives: To learn how to treat cases of vascular complications with dermal fillers presenting with less characteristic clinical features

Introduction: Vascular complications with dermal fillers need to be promptly diagnosed and treated. In the era of "whatsup- and selfie-based" communication between patients and physicians, unpredicted bias can occur, delaying the diagnosis and treatment.

Materials / method: We present a case of ischemic event diagnosed 5 days after HA filler injection.
A day by day course including the treatment and the conclusions drawn, are presented and discussed, based on the published literature.

Conclusion: Conclusions drawn from the case presented:
1: Believe your patient. “Terrible pain” always means something is wrong, even if you do not see anything on the selfie
2: Always ask the patient to remove make up before taking selfie
3: Previous surgical interventions can increase the predisposition for arterial cannulation
4: Whatever anatomical explanation is, when you see ischemic event, treat it as ischemic event
5. Cannula is safer than a needle, but can penetrate artery especially in the scarred tissue
6. It is never too late for generous infiltration of hyaluronidase

Objectives: aware the dangerous injection zone for the nose and the method of using hyaluronidase

Introduction: Nose augmentation is a common injection procedure in Asian population. We know that there are two injection accessories, one is sharp needle the other is blunt cannula. For the dangerous areas, most of the doctors will choose blunt cannula to avoid vascular complications. In this talk, I will share an unusual vascular complication of nose which was injected by 25g cannula. Fortunately, after using hyaluronidase, the patient recovered in 2 weeks. I will also share the possible mechanism of the complication and the tip of using hyaluronidase.
