Objectives: Skin longevity research is rapidly advancing our understanding of the complex interplay between ageing hallmarks and skin health.

Introduction: A systems biological approach is key to exploring the impact of genomic instability, epigenetics, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction and the exposome on skin ageing.

Materials / method: In addition, advanced clinical tools and predictive models are essential to translate scientific discoveries into effective and holistic solutions.

Results: The science of longevity is the future of skin health, enabling lifelong wellbeing through data-driven knowledge and personalized interventions.

Epigenetics to reset aging: towards new approaches to tackle skin longevity

Objectives: Provides a comprehensive landscape of the potential of leveraging epigenetics to reset aging and tackle skin longevity.

Introduction: Epigenetics investigates heritable changes in gene expression that occur without alterations to the underlying DNA sequence. These modifications includes DNA methylation, histone modifications and small miRNA expression changes, all playing a crucial role in skin homeostasis and aging.

Materials / method: The presentation will introduce research discoveries on microRNAs in orchestrating skin epidermal functions and aging.

Results: Research studies will unveil distinct miRNA expression profiles associated with chronological aging and photoaging, underscoring the impact of both intrinsic factors and environmental insults on skin health

Conclusion: This new field of Longevity science paves the way for innovative breakthrough solutions in cosmetics to extend skin and hair healthspan.
