Objectives: Chemical vs. Laser Peel – which one to choose ?
The participants are meant to be aware of differences which determine at which indications what procedure should be chosen

Introduction: Chemical peels work best for fixing superficial skin irregularities, laser resurfacing works well for collagen remodeling.What about the indications in detail ?

Materials / method: The indication, peeling depth, expected downtime and potential side effects differ among superficial,medium and deep chemical peels however as well between various ways of laser peeling be it fractional, superficial ,deep ,multilayer or even combined.

Conclusion: The experience of the therapist, the indication and patient’s acceptance of invasiveness determine the decision on which procedure should be preferred.
