Microfat grafting for labia majora and nanofat grafting for vaginal rejuvenation

Objectives: Our goal is to show that microfat, nanofat grafting can be effective in this indication. This study aims to present our technique, analyzing effectiveness, patient satisfaction, and complications.

Introduction: Genital restoration is growing in recent years. It can improve vaginal dryness, mucosa trophicity, genito-urinary symptoms of menaupose (GSM) and lost of elasticity and volume of external genitalia.

Materials / method: Patients presenting vaginal trophic disorders, atrophy of labia majora, and GSM were included.
After abdominal fat harvesting (or inner face of the knees, or thighs) and fat graft preparation, a microfat and nanofat grafting was performed in the genital area.
8 ml of microfat was injected in the labia majora and 6 ml of nanofat in the vestibul and the first 3 centimeters of the vagina wall (posterior and lateral)
pH, Fridmann score and Female Sexual Distress Scale (FSD) were used to evaluate the results, the effectiveness and tolerance of the treatment.

Results: 50 patients benefited from this technique. A significative improvment of the Fridmann score, pH, and FSD scale was found for all patients, with particular benefit on dryness, pH and dyspareunia.
No complication were found in our study.

Conclusion: This study demonstrate that functional disorders of intimate sphere can be treated by micofat, nanofat.
This autologous procedure is able to provide a very good rejuvenation of genital area.
This method was effective in all patients, and required a single session.

Vulvovaginal rejuvenation: the place of RF and lasers

Objectives: WHAT IS A VULVOVAGINAL REJUVENATION ?
We need a definition for this concept
We need a vulvovaginal rejuvenation score for better understanding of EBD treatments in our patients.

Introduction: Genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) combines the conditions of vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA) and urinary tract dysfunction that are associated with estrogen deficiency. The syndrome may include vaginal dryness, burning, irritation, dyspareunia and urinary symptoms: urgency, dysuria, frequency and recurrent tract infections All of these symptoms may interfere with sexual function and overall quality of life.
GSM is associated with spontaneous or induced menopause
and aging.

Materials / method: All the ENERGY BASED DEVICES are:

Safe and predictable results

No complications
No anesthesia
No medications
No downtime

Patient Satisfaction: Very high

Results: The present study demonstrates the positive effect of ENERGY BASED DEVICES focused For non-invasive non-hormonal vulvovaginal tissue restoration on postmenopausal vulvovaginal atrophy.

The treatment is effective and safe with high patient satisfaction.

Conclusion: We need an easy vulvovaginal rejuvenation score for better definition of our clinical goal and better histological - clinical correlation for our EBD treatments.

An innovative topical depigmenting therapy for the intimate female area

Objectives: The objective of this study was to establish the effectiveness and safety of a new formula of chemical peel in association with despigmentant mesotherapy, administrated in repeated sessions in the vulvar and perineal area, for bleaching.

Introduction: Intimate hyperpigmentation is becoming one of the most consultation pouposes in our daily practice when it comes to cosmetogynecology. So the need for more available and effective options of treatments is on the rise.

Materials / method: Thirty five patients with vulvar and perineal melanosis were recruited for this trial. They were treated with one session.The treatment consisted of pre-peeling, peeling and mask. The product used were a special combination in one formula. The procedure was painless and no complications were reported. Pictures of before and after as well as the evaluation of patient’s satisfaction with the use of Likert Scale.

Results: A significant reduction of the pigment in the skin of the treated area was observed in all patients post-treatment. In addition, significant improvement in the glow and tightness of the skin was observed as well. The Likert scale showed that all treated patients were satisfied with the final outcome achieved.

Conclusion: Our results show that the use of chemical peels, successfully reduced the pigment and improve the quality of the skin in the treated area achieving an optimal vulvar and perineal bleaching.
