Objectives: To study the impact of available surgical and non-surgical techniques to improve function and harmony in the female genital area.
Introduction: Cosmetic intimate surgery procedures are popular nowadays, patients are seeking to enhance their intimate anatomy to improve self-esteem and confidence in preserving their genitalia function and sensations. A comprehensive approach to the female external genitalia by the combination of surgical techniques gives better results than isolated procedures.
Materials / method: The combination of surgical techniques such as labia majora augmentation by autologous fat grafting, clitoral hood reduction plasty , labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, and vaginal regeneration by micro-fat and nano-fat grafting when indicated were used to improve female genital aesthetic and functional outcome.
Non-surgical procedures such as laser CO2, radiofrequency, and hyaluronic acid injections were used when indicated.
Results: For the last 8 years combined surgical and non-surgical procedures were performed. Aesthetic and functional outcome was evaluated with augmentation of self-esteem and genital function.
Conclusion: A comprehensive approach to the female external genitalia with the clever combination of available surgical and non-surgical techniques creates harmony, aesthetic and functional results with high levels of satisfaction.
