Objectives: O objetivo do seguinte estudo é o de identificar a prevalência dessas cirurgias nos últimos anos em consultas privadas. Além disso, os dados serão correlacionados com a perspectiva das pacientes com referência à autoestima e melhora da qualidade de vida das próprias, avaliando o quão benéficas essas cirurgias são na visão da paciente. Sendo assim, esse estudo se justifica por avaliar um conceito pouco estudado no meio ginecológico e plástico, aprimorando os conhecimentos acerca do tema e possibilitando novas abordagens de estudo do mesmo.

Introduction: Atualmente, a medicina moderna dispõe de avançadas e inúmeras tecnologias capazes de promover a modificação e alteração de porções corporais por meio de procedimentos cirúrgicos invasivos e não invasivos. Por conta disso, o número de intervenções cirúrgicas de cunho reparador ou estético apresentou um aumento exponencial nos últimos anos.

Materials / method: A pesquisa foi transversal, quantitativa, com consulta em prontuários arquivados, com levantamento dos dados anotados e anealisados através do Excel. O período pesquisado foram os anos de 2022, 2023 e 2024, na cidade de Guarapuava-PR e de somente um ginecologista da cidade.

Results: A prevalência de cirurgias estéticas dentro das cirurgias ginecológicas neste estudo foi de 13,6%, o que se mostra abaixo da porcentagem encontrada no estudo da CBGO no ano de 2022.

A cirurgia mais prevalente dentro das cirurgias estéticas ginecológicas foi a de perineoplastia, correspondendo a 28,2%. As menos prevalentes foram a colporrafia, ooforectomia, anexectomia e salpingectomia, com a porcentagem de 2,5%. A respeito dessas porcentagens, a literatura não apresenta dados específicos desse campo.

Conclusion: As cirurgias estéticas ginecológicas quando bem indicadas apresentam uma boa adesão e um baixo risco. Constatamos, também, que as cirurgias estéticas ginecológicas são buscadas por pessoas de diferentes idades com objetivo estético e de melhora de qualidade de vida.

Objectives: To describe the effects of using autologous exosomes produced by the photothermal biomodulation technique in skin rejuvenation, analyzing their impact on cellular regeneration and skin quality improvement.

Introduction: Exosomes are nanovesicles present in cells that can affect cellular function and behavior. In dermatology, autologous exosomes represent a significant advancement for cellular repair and skin rejuvenation, offering fewer side effects and enhanced cellular response.

Materials / method: This treatment is indicated for premenopausal women with clinical signs of photoaging on the face and/or neck. For the extraction of autologous exosomes, 10 mL of blood is collected and centrifuged. From the autologous material processed via MCT Systems, autologous exosomes are extracted and applied through intradermal microinjections every 1 cm on the face (24 points, 0.05 mL/point) and every 0.5 cm in the periocular (20 points, 0.025 mL/point) and perioral regions (12 points, 0.025 mL/point) using a 30Gx4mm needle at a 45° angle to the skin surface.

Results: It is observed an improvement of skin hydration, radiance, and texture, luminosity/pigmentation enhances, and consequently, overall rejuvenation and skin quality improvement.

Conclusion: Autologous exosomes generated by the photothermal biomodulation technique represent a disruptive advancement in regenerative dermatology, providing effective and safe rejuvenation. This technology can revolutionize aesthetic treatments, offering an innovative alternative for combating aging.

Objectives: To evaluate safety and effectiveness of platelet rich plasma inyections combined with hyaluronic acid ( PRP-HA) in breast cancer survivors with VVA 2.

Introduction: Approximately 75% of breast cancer survivors (BCS) experience genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) due to treatments aimed at reducing estrogen levels, such as tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors. Autologous platelet-rich plasma combined with hyaluronic acid (A-PRP-HA) appears to be a promising alternative treatment, particularly for those who cannot or do not wish to use hormonal therapies.

Materials / method: A cohort of 10 consecutive BCS women with GSM and a Gloria Bachman Vaginal Health Index (VHI) score <15 were included. VHI assesses 5 items: Elasticity, Fluid Volume (secretions), Vaginal pH, Epithelial integrity and Moisture. The score can vary from 5 to 25, with a cut-off <15 corresponding an atrophic vagina. The treatment protocol consisted of 3 vaginal intramucosal injections of a commercial A-PRP-HA administered at 1-month intervals. Clinical evaluations were performed at baseline, 3 and 6 months to evaluate vulvovaginal mucosal changes in WHI score. Side effects were also recorded

Results: The WHI score showed a significant improvement increasing from a total pre-treatment score of 11,7±4.25 to 20,33 ±3.3 at 6 months (P<0.0001). At 3 months (last dose) all items showed statistically significant improvements, except for vaginal Ph, which exhibited a non-significant trend. By 6 months, all values showed further improvement from the 3-month assessment, with vaginal pH reaching statistical significance. At 6 month 10 of 10 patients achieved WHI score >15. No adverse event was reported.

Conclusion: The injection of A-PRP-HA appeared to be promising and viable therapy for vaginal atrophy in in postmenopausal breast cancer survivor.
