Objectives: What make your aesthetic medicine clinic unique? From resource-based view (RBV), you will find your sustainable competitive advantage.

Introduction: RBV is an approach to achieving competitive advantage. Managers should look inside the clinic to find the sources of competitive advantage instead of looking at competitive environment for it. According to RBV proponents, it is much more feasible to exploit external opportunities using existing resources. In RBV model, resources are given the major role in helping clinics to achieve higher organizational performance. There are two types of resources: tangible and intangible.

Materials / method: Introducing methods of management to help audience to find core competencies of aesthetic clinic.

Results: The successful cases are demonstrated.

Conclusion: Three basic resources are tangible assets, intangible assets and organizational capabilities. A successful clinic should have different resource to form core competence and achieve higher organizational performance.

Objectives: This lecture is aimed to dermatologists who would like to have their own clinics. After the lecture, I believe doctors will prepare themselves more to make sure a successful start-up.

Introduction: From my 20-year experiences of managing chain clinics, I will review the challenges, the chances.

Results: From this review, we will share some key points to make chain clinics successfully sustainable.

Conclusion: To make sustainable chain clinic, the doctors should keep their core value, well-prepared, and find our a good business model before a real start-up.
