Objectives: To discuss the role of social media , influencers , and bloggers on Aesthetic Medicine and dermatology. Both on doctors and patients.

Introduction: It is not a secret that social media has affected our lives in many ways. From socializing with friends, to browsing celebrity photos, shopping online, cooking recipes and “influencers” telling us what to do, where to go and what to buy.
Our lives have definitely changed these past couple of years.

But does it affect our careers?

Materials / method: I used an inductive approach, by searching the literature for published studies that researched the effect of social media on dermatology and aesthetics.
I also discuss my personal experience in social media as a doctor with multiple social media pages, and my observations.
How can we benefit from social media booming, how to raise awareness among patients ... etc

Results: Like it or not, we are all affected.
Social media is influencing our patients choices and desires. It affects our practices, integrity and even our income.

Conclusion: There should be more rules and measures taken to educate and advise us as doctors and to increase the awareness of our patients.

Objectives: 1.) Outline different basic, accessible, and still-effective Traditional Marketing Strategies for small to medium aesthetic businesses
2.) Outline accessible online and digital platforms for Marketing and Promotions
3.) Introduce management techniques for outlined marketing options

Introduction: Marketing and Promotions are some of the most important elements in operating a business of any size. This presentation introduces some of the accessible, basic, and organic approaches to communicating the business services, establishing market interest, and keeping consumer loyalty.

Materials / method: The lecture is presented with material collected from current marketing service offerings by the author's own business outfit, Rain Ramas Design Source, and its associate entities. Results from selected projects and engagements with prior notice to and approval of the respective parties will be included in the presentation.

Results: Results from selected cosmetic industry-related business entities such as Gwapaha Medical Spa in the Philippines will be presented, covering areas from planning to implementation and market response.

Conclusion: The lecture will highlight on the most effective strategies based on the results and further discuss enhancement possibilities to optimize other Marketing and Promotions options.

Objectives: The objectives of this talk is let the audience understand how they should responds when they receive a testimonial or feedback. Be it positive or negative, clinic should have a protocol on how to responds to all the feedback. They should also make it easy for staff so that feedback can be responded as quickly as possible.

Introduction: Patient expressing their happiness in the clinic to the staff and doctors is common however asking them to write a review on social media or google or any internet platform that might identify their accounts might be a challenge. Therefore clinic should have a protocol on how to encourage patients to write review and make it as easy as possible for them.

Once review is receive, the standard protocol should also be in place so that if it is possible, it can be shared immediately in your social media accounts and if it is negative, it can be dealt with immediately before it gets out of hands.

Materials / method: Protocol on how to collect positive review.
Protocol on how to handle negative and positive review.

Results: Clinics should have a clearer picture how to handle reviews and also understand the importance of handling reviews.

Conclusion: This presentation should let clinics have the protocol on how to handle reviews. How to encourage positive review to be shared openly and how to handle negative review before it goes out of hands. Clinic should also have a way to identify potential "problematic" patients before accepting them as their patient.
