Objectives: Participants are provided with an overview on the legislative impacts for their daily practice

Introduction: Legislative developments do have impacts on the conduct of medical practice and clinical studies.

Materials / method: Based on recent legislative developments this lecture provides an overview on the impact of law to the practice of medicine and clinical studies.

Results: Physicians need to be up to date regarding legislative developments when conducting clinical studies and medical practice.
