Introduction: Men are hyped in aesthetics as a huge market opportunity. But are they? And what needs to be considered!

Materials / method: Entirely eminence based. OK Boomer biased.

Results: In the time of gender confusion what’s about men or people who define themselves as men? Not so easy. Real men do not need Aesthetics. However, when men age some might want to decrease the signs of aging. On the other side are the sometimes gender confused Millennials who want to keep looking young forewever. They start early and end up often overtoxed. So, when it comes to toxins what has to be taken into account? Most men have stronger and mostly larger muscles. Therefore, they will need more toxin. But be careful more toxin might increase the risk of feminization.

Conclusion: When it comes to toxins. Will men be a huge market opportunity? Not sure. If men stay men the proportion of men to be treated will remain stable. If men continue to adapt female features there might be some increase. The most important point is to treat them adequately. Men need more toxin and sometimes different injection points.

How to use HA-filler and volume to maintain and enhance male beautification

Introduction: Male and female beautification is different. Working with injectibles give us the the possibility to perform three different treatments
Rejuvenation
Enhancement
Remodelling.
No matter what indication your patient is looking for you need to attend to gender specific characteristics.

Materials / method: Treating male patients with HA-fillers you need to understand differences in male and female beauty. Important area is the lower third of the face and enhancing chin and mandibular line. This gives signals of a strong male with high testosterone levels. Tips and tricks will be given to help practitioners enhance male beauty and avoid feminization.

Results: More and more male patients are coming for HA-fillers, by understanding the male beauty concept and communicating this to our patients we can increase amount of men coming to our clinics

Conclusion: Male beautification is a growing part of our business.
