Mathew M. Avram, M.D., J.D., is one of the leading medical authorities on cosmetic dermatology in the world. He is the Past-President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the leading organization in the United States for cosmetic dermatology with 6,400 physician members who elected him to this prestigious position. He has served as the Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Dermatology Laser & Cosmetic Center for 19 years. He also serves as Faculty Director for Laser and Cosmetic Training in the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Avram was elected by his peers and served as President of the American Society for Laser Medicine Surgery (ASLMS) in 2017-2018, the leading society in the world for laser and energy-based treatments with 4,400 members at that time.
