Richard Chaffoo, MD, FACS, FICS is a San Diego triple board certified plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic plastic surgery including hair restoration. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and past president of the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society. He is the former chief of plastic surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas, California and on the clinical faculty, Department of Surgery, UCSD Medical Center. Dr. Chaffoo completed two residencies in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology (Head & Neck Surgery). He has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics in plastic surgery and is the medical reporter for the local Fox television station in San DIego.
