Objectives: Demonstrate that second generation platelet growth factors are a treatment tool in regenerative gynecology.
Introduction: In the last decade the advances in regenerative medicine have given a big leap, and allowed advances in different medical fields with a wide range of possibilities in the different areas wheres have been applied. That is the case of gynecology, where where nowadays we have regenerative, functional and aesthetics. Autologous growth factors have suffered some changes in the obtaining and preparation processes, and now we prefer to talk about the second generation growth factors because of their biosecurity, closed technique without anticoagulant
Results: in which we obtain a bigger amount of growth factor (up to 5X more) than normal PRP, lesser human errors while performing the technique, centrifuge equipment with lesser G-force, slow centrifugations speed obtaining suturable membranes (APRF) ans it;s inyectable form (IPRF) widely used and applied in according to protocols in Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause,
Conclusion: stress urinary incontinence, wound dehiscence, partial vulvectomy, atrophic lichen sclerosus, vulvodynia, pudendal entrapment, cervical pathology, surgical complications, genital mutilation, among others. This technique, with the adequate instruments and trained physician care is recommended as a non-conventional therapy for the management of such pathologies.
