Objectives: To compare and contrast the different noninvasive vaginal rejuvenation device technology on the market as well as their safety and efficacy profiles. The author has nearly all of the devices in the US market currently used to treat vaginal laxity, stress urinary incontinence, and atrophy-related symptoms and has been able to conduct several studies comparing the usage of these devices alone or in combination.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to establish the effectiveness and safety of a new formula of chemical peel, administrated in only two sessions, for genital bleaching.

Introduction: More effective and safer methods of genital bleaching, for the treatment of vulvar and perineal melanosis, are needed.

Materials / method: Thirty-five patients, with vulvar and perineal melanosis, were recruited for this trial. They were treated with two sessions every 45 days. In each session, the treatment consisted of 3 steps: pre-peeling, peeling, mask. The thirty-five patients received a total of 2 sessions. The procedure was painless, and no complications were reported. Pictures of before-and-after, as well as the evaluation of patient’s satisfaction with the use of the Likert Scale (LS) were done in the follow-up.

Results: A significant reduction of the pigment in the skin of the treated area was observed in all patients, post-treatment. In addition, significant improvement in the glow and tightness of the skin was observed too. LS examination showed that all treated patients were satisfied with the final outcome achieved.

Conclusion: Our results show that the use of new chemical peels will successfully reduce the pigment and improved the quality of the skin in the treated area, achieving an optimal vulvar and perineal bleaching.

Objectives: To evaluate the indications of labiaplasty with 30W 980nm diode laser, performed in-office, in the 2016-2017 period and also the results, scale of postoperative pain, sexual satisfaction and complications.

Introduction: Labiaplasty is a common genital aesthetic surgery, its objective is to correct labia
minora hypertrophy and/or the clitoridean foreskin.

Materials / method: A retrospective, descriptive, analytical study was carried out of clinic, with a sample of 23 patients in the 2016 -2017 period. We used a Trim technique with a 30W 980nm diode laser in continuous mode. The patients were classified by reason for consultation, degree of hypertrophy (Gonzalez classification), pain and sexual satisfaction scales, as well as associated complications.

Results: The age range was 18-50 years with an average of 29-39 years. The reason for
consultation was primarily discomfort, followed by dyspareunia. 65.2% presented generalized hypertrophy, followed by central asymmetry in 34.7%. Only 8.6% reported pain II to III on the analog scale. There were no intraoperative complications; postoperative complications were absent in 82.6%, 8.6% presented suture dehiscence, 4.3% pruritus and 4.3% Granuloma. The postoperative sexual satisfaction index was 10/10pts in 100% of the patients.

Conclusion: The reduction labiaplasty is a frequent procedure, performed with an instrument of minimal damage to tissues such as diode laser. It was found to have few side effects with excellent aesthetic and functional results.
