Objectives: To describe the correct approach to correction of infraorbital age-related changes by injectables
Introduction: Infraorbital area is a barometer of facial aging. Midface volume loss and infraorbital fat herniation are the most common signs of age-dependent infraorbital changes.
While both pathologies can be reasonably corrected by HA based fillers injection, the techniques used are fundamentally different.
Materials / method: Two different injection techniques for correction of infraorbital age-related changes will be presented and discussed
Conclusion: For infraorbital volume loss (teartrough deformity ) deep cannula assisted injections provide optimal outcomes. While for infraorbital fat herniation subdermal needle assisted correction is required.
