Objectives: The presentation will show how to diagnose Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA) trichoscopically. Attendees will identify it's clinical variants such as the occipital fibrosing alopecia. The associated pigmentary disorders such as lichen planus pigmentosus and dark upper eyelids will be highlighted.

Introduction: In recent years there has been an increase in the number of FFA cases. Whether there is actual increase of case numbers or better diagnosis due to the introduction of trichoscopy in dermatology practice remains to be established.

Materials / method: In this presentation the trichoscopic diagnosis of FFA with its occipital variant will be demonstrated. A series of cases with associated LPP and dark upper eyelids will be displayed to show that such pigmentary associations are more common in patients with skin type IV. Treatment of FFA patients and their follow-up with its possible setbacks will be represented.

Objectives: To update the classification of treatment modalities for Inflammatory Alopecias.

Introduction: Introduction:
New discoveries have been made in the pathogenesis of Immune and Inflammatory Alopecias. This is relevant with regards to therapeutical modalities

Materials / method: We have reviewed 205 patients with Alopecia conditions such as Foliculitis Decalvans both in men and women, Lichen plano-pilaris, Frontal fibrosing alopecia, and Alopecia Areata. We have also studied the actual literature regarding treatments for these types of Alopecia.

Results: We propose a Therapeutical classification and approach to the treatment of Inflammatory Alopecias.

Conclusion: New treatment modalities should be introduced and considered in Inflammatory Alopecias.
