My ID TOX technique for skin quality and its dermatoaesthetics benefits

Objectives: El objetivo de la presentación es compartir mi experiencia en el uso de la toxina mas allá de su beneficios sobre arrugas dinámicas. Adoptando esta técnica mejoramos diversos inesteticismos faciales y realzamos el tratamiento final de rejuvenecimiento. Sea como monoterapia o dentro de un esquema terapéutico.

Introduction: La toxina botulínica es el producto de elección para las arrugas dinámicas, logrando su neuro modulación, evitando la impronta en piel como consecuencia del gesto repetitivo.
Hoy en día podemos decir que los beneficios de la Toxina Botulínica van más allá de simplemente el borramiento o atenuación de las arrugas. El uso de la toxina hiperdiluida, aplicada en un plano superficial y en microgotas aporta múltiples beneficios dermoestéticos que mejoran la calidad de la piel.

Materials / method: El uso de la toxina hiperdiluida, aplicada en un plano superficial y en microgotas aporta múltiples beneficios dermoestéticos que mejoran la calidad de la piel, el tensado cutáneo del rostro y del cuello, realzando aún más la técnica de Nefertiti. Logra reducir la secreción sebácea del rostro como así también la disminución del tamaño del poro. Mejora el eritema fijo y flushing de la rosácea y los síntomas asociados a la misma.
Estudios recientes revelan sus efectos terapéuticos al ser aplicado sobre hiperpigmentaciones con atenuación de las mismas.

Results: Se presentan diversos casos clínicos que evidencian los beneficios descriptos

Conclusion: Esta técnica de sencilla y rápida aplicación y de bajo riesgo, nos permite realzar el skinglow de la piel, y mejorar la calidad de la misma con resultados armónicos y naturales, sumado a los múltiples beneficios dermoestéticos.

Cutaneous rejuvenation associated with the use of ortho-silicic acid stabilized by hydrolyzed marine collagen

Objectives: Organic silicon plays an important role in dermal structure by promoting neocollagenesis. Thus, the supplementation of silicon in a highly bioavailable form can be used for skin rejuvenation.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate skin changes associated with the use of ortho-silicic acid stabilized by hydrolyzed collagen.

Materials / method: Patients were randomized to receive 600 mg of ortho-silicic acid stabilized by hydrolyzed collagen (group 1, n = 11) or placebo (group 2, n = 11) to be taken 15 minutes before breakfast for 90 days. Clinical, photographical, and patients' subjective evaluations were conducted.

Results: A total of 22 patients were included. Clinical evaluations demonstrated changes in skin texture, firmness, and hydration statistically superior in group 1. Brightness, firmness, and overall appearance showed trends for a difference favoring group 1 according to patients' subjective evaluations. Objective images showed no statistical differences. No side effects, hypersensitivity, or systemic symptoms were observed in group 1. Treatment satisfaction in group 1 reached 80%.

Conclusion: Ortho-silicic acid stabilized by hydrolyzed collagen in a daily dose of 600 mg showed positive results in skin rejuvenation according to clinical evaluation in firmness, hydration, and skin texture. Further studies with larger and representative samples should be conducted to confirm our results.
